Using Infopath with Carematic Care Center
Using Infopath with Carematic Care Center is fairly straightforward; however, there
are a couple of setup items you must address for everything to work correctly.
With both Infopath 2003 and 2007, you must have carecenter.carematic.com
on the list of trusted sites. You can do this by configuring Internet Explorer
as described in this document.
If you're installing Infopath 2007, there are two things you have to do. First,
before you install Infopath, you must install the Microsoft .net framework version
2.0. If you're using Vista, it's already installed. If you're using
Windows XP, you may have to download it from the Microsoft web site. First,
check to see if .net 2.0 is already installed by going to Control panel>Add/Remove
Programs and look for it. If you don't see it in the list of
installed software, then you need to install it. Next, go to Microsoft's web
site (http://www.microsoft.com) and search for
download .net 2.0.
Look for a link to a page entitled
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)
Download and install the package before you install Infopath 2007.
Next, install Infopath 2007. When you do, be sure to install the entire package,
including Programmability Support (which is not installed by default).
If you have already installed Infopath 2007 but didn't install .net 2.0 first, then
go ahead and install the .net framework, then insert the Infopath CD and do a
Repair.
