System Requirements

Please note that the requirements for Carematic Care Center version 3 have changed.

Here's what we recommend as a baseline for version 3:

Any reasonable CPU. A low-end system will do - as long as it has enough horsepower to run Windows XP or Vista, it will run Care Center.
512 Mb. of memory
Minimum 1024x768 screen resolution (this is a bare minimum; more is better!)
Windows XP (home or professional edition) or Windows Vista
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 (new!)
DSL (768kbps) internet connectivity or better for in-home computers
Note that Carematic Care Center does not require any local disk space

In addition, for those staff who will be filling out and/or reviewing Maryland DDA Appendix forms (typically the QA and executive staff) the following items are required:

Microsoft Office Infopath 2003 or 2007
Microsoft Word 2003 or 2007

Using Your Browser

Carematic Care Center supports Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7, and works with Windows XP and Vista. Click here for important tips on setting up and configuring your browser for use with Carematic Care Center.

Using Microsoft Office Infopath

Carematic Care Center does not require any software other than your browser for most functions. However, in order to fill out certain forms, such as the Maryland DDA/OHCQ Appendix 4, 5, 7, and 7a reports, you need Microsoft Office Infopath and Microsoft Word.

You can use either Infopath 2003 or 2007. Infopath 2003 is included with Office 2003 Professional Edition. Infopath 2007 is only included with Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate Edition, but is available separately at a local retailer or through the Microsoft web site.
